ExemptMyHome is operated by Sharon Ben-Moshe, an individual — not a registered company. This policy explains how ExemptMyHome handles information and is written in plain English for a content and tools website.
The short version
ExemptMyHome is an informational site. You do not need an account, and the exemption calculator runs entirely in your browser — the values you enter (home value, age, veteran status, income) are not sent to us or stored on our servers.
Information we collect
- Calculator inputs: processed locally in your browser only; not transmitted or retained.
- Analytics and session replay: we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and PostHog to understand how the site is used. These services collect usage data such as pages viewed, approximate location, device type, and interactions with the site. PostHog may record sessions so we can review how visitors navigate the site; the calculator is excluded from these recordings, so the values entered there are not captured. Advertising
We may display advertising in the future. If and when we do, this policy will be updated to disclose the ad provider and any cookies or identifiers it uses. (Ad disclosure to be confirmed.)
